September letter from the editor

September is the ninth month of the year. Can you believe it’s here already? Summer’s gone, kids are back in school, and soon we’ll be heading toward 2016. If you’ve achieved your 2015 goals, congratulations. If you haven’t it’s not too late. Pikes Peak Writers and Writing from the Peak are here to help members and writers make 2015 a resounding success. We’re reaching out via our blog, Write Brain workshops, Ask the Prez and more.

The more you ask? Check out Pikes Peak Writers 24th annual Pikes Peak Writers Conference http://www.pikespeakwriters.com/ppwc/

In conjunction with the conference, the Zebulon Writing Contest opens on September 14, 2015. Are you working on your query, synopsis and entry? Have you gone to http://www.pikespeakwriters.com/ppwc/ and looked over the rules? This month, Zebulon coordinator Dawn Smit joins us to talk about the organization's out-of-the box competition. The Zebulon is different from any writing contest out there, and we hope you’ll check it out.

This month we have articles about goals, world building, transitions and more. We also celebrate Pikes Peak Writers' members’ Sweet Successes.

Pikes Peak Writers and Writing from the Peak blog are  here for you to enhance your writing experience. It’s September. 2016 is right around the corner. What are you waiting for?
