PPW Event: Pitch Your Manuscript Workshop

Have you been practicing pitching your manuscript, but you suspect your cat just isn’t giving you the feedback you need? Pikes Peak Writers is offering a how-to workshop on pitching your manuscript to editors and agents.

What: "How to Pitch" workshop and practice session
When: Saturday March 17, 2012
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (registration begins at 8:00 a.m.)
Where: Colorado Springs Marriott, 5580 Tech Center Drive, Colorado Springs CO

Learn all the ins and outs, dos and don'ts, of pitching your manuscript to editors and agents. We share tips, tricks, advice, and lessons learned over twenty years of pitch prep for the Pikes Peak Writers Conference. In addition to the lecture and live pitching demo, attendees will gain actual pitching experience during a one-hour pitch practice session where knowledgeable "receivers" provide coaching and feedback. Presenters include author Jodi (Anderson) Dawson and PPW President Chris Mandeville. Spend Saint Patrick's Day morning with us, and we'll see that you receive the luck o' the Irish, the "Gift of Gab," and all the tools you need to prepare your pitch.

This workshop is offered for the special price of only $29 per person

To guarantee your spot, please RSVP to workshops@pikespeakwriters.com.
